Project Overview
The ISND5-2 project represents a significant phase in the expansion of Qatar’s offshore oil production capabilities. Awarded to COOEC, this project underscores the strategic partnership between QatarEnergy and international contractors to enhance the nation’s energy infrastructure.
Scope of Work
COOEC’s responsibilities encompass a comprehensive range of offshore development activities:
- Wellhead Platforms: Design, fabrication, and installation of three wellhead platforms, each weighing approximately 1,300 tons.
- Subsea Infrastructure: Laying of nine subsea pipelines and installation of five umbilical cables to facilitate efficient resource transportation and control.
- Subsea Skids: Construction and deployment of four subsea skids to support subsea operations.
- Brownfield Modifications: Upgrades and modifications to existing facilities, including the PS-1 complex, to integrate new systems seamlessly.
