Testing & Material Inspections

Arrow Pipes, your trusted partner in the carbon and stainless steel pipe industry.

Ensuring Uncompromised Quality and Reliability

At Arrow Pipes, we do more than supply steel products, we deliver confidence. Our unwavering commitment to quality is backed by rigorous Testing and Material Inspection protocols, executed through trusted third-party laboratories specializing in cutting-edge analysis and certification. With us, your projects gain the assurance that every component complies with—and often exceeds—global standards.

Third-Party Laboratory Testing & Inspection Services

We collaborate with accredited external laboratories equipped with the latest technology and certifications to conduct all required material testing and inspections. These labs are leaders in their field, ensuring objective, precise, and compliant evaluations across all project requirements.

Comprehensive Material Inspections:

Every item is subject to detailed inspection to validate conformity with international codes and client specifications. From mill certificates to full traceability, quality is embedded into our supply chain.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):

To preserve the structural integrity of our materials while identifying potential defects, we employ a range of Non-Destructive Testing methods, including:

  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
  • Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)

These tests ensure defect-free components without altering their form or function.

Additional Testing Capabilities (On Special Request)

For projects with more stringent mechanical and metallurgical demands, our partner laboratories also conduct Destructive Testing, including:

  • Hydrogen-Induced Cracking (HIC) Test
  • Sulfide Stress Cracking (SSC) Test
  • Drop Weight Tear Test (DWTT)

These critical evaluations assess a material’s resistance to cracking, toughness under impact, and performance in sour service environments.

Key Testing and Inspection Services:

  1. Chemical Composition Analysis: To verify compliance with defined chemical standards for all alloys and grades.

  2. Mechanical Property Testing: To confirm tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and toughness of materials.

  3. Visual Inspections: Conducted by certified inspectors to detect any surface flaws or visible defects.

  4. Dimensional Verification: Precise measurements to ensure that all components meet exact size, tolerance, and alignment specifications.
